(5) While there shall be no change in the existing system regarding the date of accrual of increment, the

retiring Judicial Officers shall have the benefit of increment becoming due the next day following the

retirement. This increment shall be for the purpose of pension only and subject to vertical ceiling of

Rs.2,24,100/­
